Aqua Foam Party First-Timer FAQ: Everything You’re Afraid to Ask

Never been to a foam party? What happens, what to wear, how to protect your phone and ID, and every Aqua date for Myrtle Beach Senior Week 2027.

The short answer: a foam party is exactly what it sounds like — foam cannons flood the dance floor while DJs play, and everyone dances in waves of bubbles. At Senior Week 2027, that’s the Aqua Wet-N-Wild Foam Party at House of Blues Myrtle Beach, and it’s one of the nights people talk about the whole drive home.

If you’ve never done one, you probably have questions you don’t want to ask out loud. Here are the honest answers.

What actually happens at a foam party?

The night starts like any other party: DJs, lights, a packed room. Then the foam cannons kick on and the floor fills up with bubbles. At Aqua you get massive foam cannons, national touring DJs bringing the bass, and lasers and strobes cutting through the foam. It’s loud, bright, messy and a lot of fun.

The foam comes and goes in waves, so you’re not stuck in it the entire night. Some people dive straight in; others hang near the edge until the second or third wave. Both are fine.

When is the Aqua foam party during Senior Week 2027?

Aqua runs once in every week, so whichever week you pick, you get a foam night:

Week Date Time
Week 1 Tue, June 1 9PM–1:30AM
Week 2 Tue, June 8 9PM–1:30AM
Week 3 Thu, June 17 9PM–1:30AM
Week 4 Thu, June 24 9PM–1:30AM

Week 1 also ends with Neon Splash on Friday, June 4 — foam plus a UV blacklight takeover. All the dates are on the Senior Week event schedule.

Will I get soaked?

Yes. If you’re anywhere near the dance floor when the cannons go, you will be wet. That’s the point. Dress for it:

  • Quick-dry or swim-friendly clothes — athletic shorts, a swim top under a tee, a rash guard.
  • Shoes that stay on your feet when they’re wet. Loose slides and foam don’t mix.
  • Nothing you’d be upset to ruin. Leave the white suede at the condo.

What do I do with my phone, ID and Club Card?

This is the question that matters most. You need your photo ID and your Club Card to get in, and lost Club Cards are not replaced — so protect them.

  • A waterproof phone pouch on a lanyard is the easiest fix for your phone, ID and card together.
  • Zip pockets beat open pockets. Back pockets are where cards go to disappear.
  • Bring only what you need for the night. The fewer things you’re carrying, the fewer things you can lose in the foam.

Is the foam safe for my eyes and skin?

Everyone reacts differently, so be smart about it. If you wear contacts, consider glasses or daily lenses you won’t mind tossing. If foam gets in your eyes, step off the floor and rinse rather than rubbing. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, rinse off when you get back. These are common-sense tips, not medical advice — when in doubt, ask a staff member.

How old do you have to be?

Aqua, like every Club Card theme party, is 17+ to enter with a valid government-issued photo ID: a driver’s license (including a learner’s permit), a state-issued ID, or a U.S. passport or passport card. The full list is on the Senior Week rules page.

Do I need a ticket, or does my Club Card get me in?

If you have a Club Card for that week, Aqua is free entry — it’s one of your week’s theme parties. If you don’t have a card, you can buy a single event ticket, but most people find the card covers several nights for less than buying them one at a time. Not sure? We broke down whether the Club Card is worth it using real prices.

Can I go with friends who picked a different week?

Club Cards are valid for the week you choose at checkout, and they’re non-transferable — each person needs their own card with their own name and signature. If your crew is split across weeks, the easiest move is for everyone to pick the same week and buy cards together.

What happens after the foam party?

Plan for the after part, because you’ll walk out damp. A towel and a dry shirt waiting for you make the ride home a lot more comfortable. When you get back, rinse off, hang your clothes to dry so they’re ready for the beach tomorrow, and plug your phone in. Then check what’s next: in Week 1, Aqua is followed by LIT Ultra Glow on Wednesday at 3001 Nightlife; in Week 2, it’s LIT on Wednesday too. In Weeks 3 and 4, Aqua is the last theme party of the week, so it’s the big finish.

What should I bring home from a foam party?

Your ID, your card, your phone, and the people you came with. Pick a meet-up spot before the foam starts, because finding your group in a room full of bubbles is harder than it sounds. Then plan your ride home before you leave the venue.

Foam night is free with your week’s Club Card. Pick your week and lock it in.
