Myrtle Beach vs North Myrtle Beach vs Surfside for Senior Week

For Senior Week, the best area depends on which parties you’ll hit most and how you’ll get your Club Card. Myrtle Beach and Surfside get FREE card delivery to your rental, while North Myrtle Beach (including Cherry Grove) puts you closest to House of Blues and has a weekend card pickup spot.

The Grand Strand is a long stretch of coast, and where you stay shapes your whole week: your ride times, your card pickup, even which nights feel easiest. Here’s how the three main areas compare for Senior Week 2027.

Where the parties are

Senior Week theme parties happen at two venues in two different towns:

Venue	Town	Senior Week nights
House of Blues Myrtle Beach · 4640 Highway 17 South	North Myrtle Beach	Pardi Gras, Aqua Wet-N-Wild Foam Party, Neon Splash, and the Thursday concerts
3001 Nightlife · 920 Lake Arrowhead Rd	Myrtle Beach	LIT Ultra Glow, Snowfall, Jersey Night

Pull up the Senior Week 2027 schedule to count how many of your week’s nights land at each venue. That’s your first clue about where to stay.

Myrtle Beach

FREE card delivery

• Card: call 888-523-9076 for FREE delivery to your resort or rental. If anyone in your group still needs a card, the delivery agent will have extras.
• Parties: 3001 Nightlife is in Myrtle Beach. House of Blues nights mean a ride north.
• Getting around: Coast RTA runs a Myrtle Beach route, and rideshare covers party nights. See getting around without a car.
• Good for: groups who want to be central and get their cards delivered.

North Myrtle Beach (and Cherry Grove)

Closest to House of Blues

• Card: pick it up at Myrtle Beach Tours, 109 Ash St., North Myrtle Beach, Saturday & Sunday 1pm – 5pm, or call 888-523-9076 for free delivery instead.
• Parties: House of Blues is in North Myrtle Beach, so Pardi Gras, Aqua, Neon Splash and the concerts are your shortest rides. 3001 Nightlife nights mean a ride south.
• Getting around: plan on rideshare. Check Coast RTA’s current routes before relying on the bus.
• Good for: weeks heavy on House of Blues nights.

Full details on pickup, venues and planning are in our North Myrtle Beach Senior Week guide.

Surfside Beach

FREE card delivery

• Card: FREE delivery to your rental. Call 888-523-9076.
• Parties: Surfside is south of Myrtle Beach, so every party night is a ride north. Budget for it.
• Getting around: Coast RTA runs a Surfside Beach route for daytime trips, and rideshare covers nights.
• Good for: groups who want a quieter home base and don’t mind longer rides on party nights.

Venue count by week (use this to pick your area)

Here’s how each 2027 week splits between the two venues. The week with more nights at one venue points you toward staying closer to it.

Week	House of Blues (North Myrtle Beach)	3001 Nightlife (Myrtle Beach)
Week 1 · May 31 – June 4	Pardi Gras, Aqua, Neon Splash + Thursday concert (TBA)	LIT Ultra Glow
Week 2 · June 5 – 11	Pardi Gras, Aqua + Thursday concert (TBA)	Jersey Night, LIT Ultra Glow, Snowfall
Week 3 · June 12 – 18	Aqua	Snowfall, LIT Ultra Glow
Week 4 · June 19 – 25	Aqua	Snowfall, LIT Ultra Glow

So, roughly: Week 1 leans North Myrtle Beach, Week 2 leans Myrtle Beach (with two House of Blues nights), and Weeks 3 and 4 lean Myrtle Beach. If your crew is set on Surfside, plan for a ride north every party night.

Concert nights are Thursday, June 3 and Thursday, June 10, with artists to be announced. Watch the Senior Week concerts page for the lineup.

Daytime is the same everywhere: beach first

Wherever you stay, your days look similar: beach, food, maybe watersports or rides, then rest up before the party. Your Club Card unlocks deals at 20+ local spots in both Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, so check what’s near your rental on the Senior Week discounts page before you head out.

How to pick in 3 questions

1. Which venue hosts most of your week’s nights? Stay closer to that one.
2. How will you get your card? Delivery in Myrtle Beach and Surfside, weekend pickup (or delivery) in North Myrtle Beach.
3. What’s your ride budget? The farther you are from the venues, the more you’ll spend getting there. See the Senior Week budget worksheet.
