How a Senior Week Night Actually Flows

Getting ready, rides, ID at the door, the party and getting home safe: a step-by-step guide to a Myrtle Beach Senior Week 2027 party night.

The short answer: a Senior Week party night in Myrtle Beach runs roughly 9PM to 1:30 or 2AM, and the best nights follow the same simple flow — get ready with your crew, sort your ride, get through the door with your ID and Club Card, go all-in on the party, and get everyone home together. Here’s how each part actually works.

Step 1: Know tonight’s party before you start getting ready

Every night of your week has a different theme and a different venue, so check the Senior Week 2027 event schedule before anyone touches an outfit. A few examples:

  • Pardi Gras at House of Blues — beads, masks, purple and gold.
  • Aqua Wet-N-Wild at House of Blues — foam party, dress to get soaked.
  • LIT Ultra Glow at 3001 Nightlife — neon and white under blacklights.
  • Snowfall at 3001 Nightlife — wear white, snow machines inside.
  • Jersey Night at 3001 Nightlife — rep your team.

Knowing the theme early saves the 8:45PM “wait, what are we wearing” panic. Our theme party outfit guide has a cheat sheet.

One card. Every party. The week you’ll never forget.

Step 2: Getting ready (the part that’s secretly the best part)

Ask anyone after Senior Week and they’ll say the getting-ready hour was half the fun: music on, outfits going, someone doing everyone’s glow makeup. A few things make it smoother:

  • Eat a real dinner. You’re about to be on your feet dancing for four-plus hours.
  • Charge everything. Phone at 100%, and a small battery pack if you have one.
  • Pack light. Photo ID, Club Card, phone, a little cash or a card. That’s it.
  • Stay hydrated. Grab water before you go — packed dance floors get hot.

Step 3: Sort your ride before you leave

Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach are spread out along the coast, and the two party venues are in different places: House of Blues is at 4640 Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach, and 3001 Nightlife is at 920 Lake Arrowhead Rd in Myrtle Beach. Decide how you’re getting there and back before you head out.

  • Ride together. Splitting one ride is cheaper and nobody gets left behind.
  • If you’re using a rideshare app, check the pickup spot and the car details before you get in.
  • Agree on a “we leave together” rule. Nobody walks home alone.

Step 4: Getting in the door

This is where people slow themselves down. Have these in your hand before you reach the front of the line:

Bring Why
Valid photo ID Required every night. Driver’s license (learner’s permit counts), state ID, or U.S. passport/passport card.
Your Club Card Free entry to your week’s theme parties. Your signature on the back is checked against your ID.
Your own card only Cards are non-transferable — each person needs their own.

Theme parties are 17+ to enter. Concerts at House of Blues are all ages. The full list of rules is on the Senior Week rules and ages page.

Step 5: The party

Doors open around 9PM. The first hour fills up fast, the DJs build the energy, and the theme moments hit once the room is packed — beads flying off the stage at Pardi Gras, foam cannons at Aqua, snow machines at Snowfall, blacklights at LIT. A few things that make the night better:

  • Pick a meet-up spot the moment you walk in. Phones die and signals drop in packed rooms.
  • Stay with your crew. Use a buddy system, especially on foam nights.
  • Take breaks. Step off the floor, cool down, grab some water, then go back in.
  • Look out for each other. If someone isn’t feeling right, get staff and get them home.

Step 6: Getting home safe

Parties wrap around 1:30AM at House of Blues and 2AM at 3001 Nightlife. That’s when the line for rides gets long, so:

  • Do a headcount before anyone leaves the building.
  • Request your ride a little early, or wait inside with the group until it arrives.
  • Text the group chat when everyone’s back — especially if your crew split up.

Screenshot this, drop it in your group chat, and nobody has to be the one who remembers everything.

Step 7: Do it again tomorrow

The Club Card covers every theme party in your week, so the best nights are the ones where you still have energy for the next one. Sleep in, hit the beach, eat, hydrate, and check tonight’s theme. Thursdays in Weeks 1 and 2 are concert nights (artists TBA), and Club Card holders get discounted concert tickets.

One card, every theme party in your week.

FAQ

What time do Senior Week parties start and end?

Most open at 9PM; some Week 3 and 4 nights at 3001 Nightlife start at 10PM. They end around 1:30AM at House of Blues and 2AM at 3001 Nightlife.

Do I need to bring my ID if I have a Club Card?

Yes. The card gets you in free; the ID proves the card is yours and that you’re 17+.

Can I leave and come back?

Check with staff at the door for that night’s policy before you leave.

What if my phone dies?

That’s why you set a meet-up spot and a “we leave together” rule before the night starts.
