Boardwalk, SkyWheel, parasailing, surf lessons and cheap eats: 15 daytime Senior Week ideas in Myrtle Beach, plus Club Card deals that save you money.

Senior Week in Myrtle Beach isn’t only about the nights. Between the theme parties, you’ve got long days to fill, and the best ones mix the ocean, a little adrenaline, cheap food and a crew that’s down for anything. Here are 15 daytime ideas, plus the Club Card deals that make them cheaper.

Quick plan: mornings on the beach, afternoons on a ride or the water, an early dinner with a card discount, then the night’s party. The Senior Week 2027 event schedule shows which party is on which night.

On the boardwalk and up high

1. Walk the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk

Start your week by walking the oceanfront boardwalk end to end. The City of Myrtle Beach says it originally ran 1.2 miles pier to pier, and later additions pushed it to 16th Avenue North for a total of 1.3 miles (source). It’s free and easy, and it makes a great first-day group photo.

2. Ride the SkyWheel

The SkyWheel stands 187 feet tall on the boardwalk at 1110 North Ocean Boulevard, with 42 glass-enclosed, temperature-controlled gondolas (Visit Myrtle Beach). Go at sunset for the photos.

3. Get launched on the Sling Shot

The Sling Shot at Free Fall Thrill Park sends two riders over 300 feet into the air, according to the park. Cardholders get 10% off before 4 pm (1201 N Ocean Blvd).

4. Drop from the Skyscraper

Same park, different kind of scary: you’re lifted 170 feet and dropped. Club Card deal: $5 off a ride before 7 pm. Check rider requirements with the park before you go.

5. Moe Moons on the boardwalk

Refuel without leaving the boardwalk: Moe Moons at 990 Boardwalk gives cardholders 10% off the menu.

On the water

6. Go parasailing

Downwind Sails Watersports runs parasail flights from the beach at 2985 S Ocean Blvd. Cardholders get $5 off, every day. Our full jet ski and parasailing guide covers how booking works.

7. Pile onto a banana boat

Up in North Myrtle Beach, New Wave Watersports (1701 S Ocean Blvd) has banana boat rides for $25 with your card ($5 off). It’s the cheapest way to get your whole crew on the water at once.

8. Take a surf lesson

Trunkplayer Surf & Skate (109 Ash St, North Myrtle Beach) gives cardholders $10 off surf lessons (you must be 18) plus 10% off merchandise (surfboards excluded).

9. Sunrise on a pier

Set one alarm all week and catch the sun coming up over the Atlantic from a pier. The SC Department of Natural Resources lists the 2nd Avenue Pier (110 N Ocean Blvd), Springmaid Pier (3200 S Ocean Blvd) and Cherry Grove Pier (3500 N Ocean Blvd, North Myrtle Beach). Our photo spot guide has more ideas.

Get around

10. Rent a golf cart for the day

Beach Golf Cart Rentals and Sales (609 S Kings Hwy) gives cardholders $10 off a 24-hour rental. Ask about driver requirements when you book.

Indoor fun

11. Ripley’s Aquarium

Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach (1110 Celebrity Circle) is a solid plan for a cloudy afternoon. Visitors rave about walking under the sharks in the tunnel.

12. WonderWorks

The upside-down building at Broadway at the Beach is hard to miss. Inside are interactive exhibits, an indoor ropes course and laser tag (Discover South Carolina). The rainy day guide has more indoor picks.

Eat for less

13. Pizza night for the whole crew

Feeding eight people adds up fast. Cardholders get 15% off the entire menu at The Original Geno’s Pizza and 10% off at King’s Pizza (3511 Hwy 17 S) and Babaka’s Pizzeria (221 Sea Mountain Hwy) in North Myrtle Beach.

14. Ice cream run

At Shore Drive Creamery (9619 Shore Dr), buy any item and get 50% off another of equal or lesser value. Grab a buddy.

15. Breakfast that fixes everything

Southern Smoothies & Sweet Treats (308 Main St, North Myrtle Beach) has buy one breakfast sandwich, get one half price, plus 10% off everything else. More cheap meals are in our cheap eats guide.

A sample Senior Week day

Not sure how to fit it all in? Here’s one way to run a full day without burning out before the party:

Morning

Sunrise on a pier, then a two-for-one breakfast sandwich at Southern Smoothies or groceries at your rental.

Midday

Beach time, then parasailing or a banana boat run with your crew.

Afternoon

Boardwalk walk, the SkyWheel, and the Sling Shot before 4 pm for the deal.

Evening

Pizza night with a card discount, a nap, then the night’s theme party.

Split it up by crew

Not everyone wants a 300-foot launch. Big groups work best when you split for the afternoon and meet back up for dinner. The thrill-seekers hit the rides, the beach crew grabs the best spot on the sand, and the shoppers head to Broadway at the Beach. Drop a pin in the group chat for the dinner spot and you’re set.

Spread the paid activities across the week too. One paid thing a day is easier on the budget than stacking three on day one, and it gives everyone something to look forward to.

Every deal on this page comes with the Myrtle Beach Club Card. One card gets you FREE entry to your week’s theme parties plus 20+ local discounts.
